Micropigmentation, commonly known as cosmetic tattooing, is the process of inserting colored pigments beneath the skin’s surface using a digitally-controlled machine, causing a permanent effect. Cosmetic tattooing has been around for many years, but has recently advanced with innovations in technology and application techniques. The procedure involves the use of a state-of-the-art, digitally-controlled Micropigmentation machine to perform the procedure. Using this digitally-controlled device, Micropigmentation Specialists are able to control the depth, power and amount of pigment that is deposited into the skin during the Micropigmentation procedure. This Micropigmentation Machine has been designed with ergonomics in mind and comes complete with a digital Micropigmentation device, power adapter, connector cord, and needles cartridges.
Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color. It deposits pigment into upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper. Microblading artists are not necessarily tattoo artists, and vice versa, because the techniques require different training. Check out Jody's beautiful brows below.
